Since my original note on crosswalks in Hudson, I have noticed that I am very much in error on this topic. Access ramps are quite common, just not always at the posted crosswalks.

The Access to sidewalks @ all intersection and crosswalks is required. I think your first concern about this was accurate! It is readily achievable to create Access @ crosswalks and should have been completed by now (1992-1995 per Title II of the ADA). The city should have a transition plan that includes a schedule for sidewalk access as roads are maintained/repaired.
