This Flash movie was first shown publicly at the Spring Book Arts Show at the Cambridge Artists Cooperative on Church Street (Harvard Square) Cambridge, MA during March 2003.
The movie was also shown at the Boston Cyberarts Festival on April 30, 2003 as part of a presentation, "Printmaking, Artists books, and the Digital Age" a co-presentation with Dorothy Simpson Krause.
I first saw this work presented by the artist Pamela Worden in June, 2002 during a final course presentation at the Word and Image course at the Radcliffe Seminars. Beginning in September, 2002 I worked with Pamela, aided by Karen Davis, to take almost 160 digital images that became the raw material for the Flash movie. Later I recorded Pamla reading the text of the piece. We also used images shot by Pamela in her garden.
The movie is only available on CD from Pamela Worden. Contact Mark Orton for sales information.
