For a long time Karen participated in F/8, a photographic critique group. The members have had many public exhibitions on their own and they have mounted several group shows. The most recent of these, “People and Places”, was at the Firehouse Center for Arts in Newburyport, MA. f/8 has also exhibited in juried exhibitions at The Gallery of the Newton Free Library (2000) and at the Concord Free Library Gallery (1998).
