I have been troubled for most of my life by an almost comprehensive lack of memories of the day-to-day events in my life. So, this year I started with the notion that I would keep a diary, rudimentary to be sure, in which I would note significant events.

This I have done since the beginning of the year.

Recently I was trying to organize my photos and it struck me that these photos are, to an extent, a record of many important events over the last 6 or 7 years.

Why not add to my written diary a picture taken every day? Not necessarily a picture of anything literally reportorial, although this would not be excluded, rather at times just something I noticed during the day.

I have now armed myself with an older point-and-shoot camera that fits easily into a pocket or my computer bag. These pages in the web site are the results.
