Made pancakes with yogurt, this at Karen’s suggestion replace milk that was not available because the bodega hadn’t opened. Worked out fine. Sunday NYTimes paper was fairly quick reading. Took much pandemic news that is really not news here.

Supposed to rain all day so we took a quick walk to Front St., then back up Warren to 5th and then home. Very light sprinkles. Jumped in car for a Sunday ride. Went by the house of one of Karen’s book group on School House rd. In Claverack. Wandered around a bit….went down Spook Rock Rd, by Andrea’s old house, then off to drive by the Federation of Polish Sportsmen Club and the quarry.

Read more Gene, then switch to the 4 hour Ken Burns’ documentary of the same name. Made two loaves of whole white bread.

12:30 – Zoom with kids. Everyone showed up. Andrea barely participated, mostly rustling about off camera in the kitchen. Kiara only put in a moment. Noah and Nyla were a bit more attentive, but only a bit……

4 pm – Zoom with Bill Zinn and Nancy Bridges. Nancy is obviously declining. She seemed to follow the conversation, occasionally added a word or two, mostly chit chat about the pandemic and our families.

7pm – Orton siblings meetup. Only Torrey. Ed is getting ready for the moving truck tomorrow. Don’t know why Ba didn’t appear.
