Still sleeting in early morning. Sound of snow plows. Lower back very sore.

Cancelled meetings with UTM. Seth told me that David Ackermsn had a kidney donor.  Schedule is unclear. Money has arrived from Melvilles  

Karen insisted that I call Dr. Rivard, the surgeon. After fifteen minutes on hold he said the back pain had no connection with surgery. Call GP. Karen brought heating pad and Tylenol. This helped. We’ll wait this out  

Worked on HAL volunteer website most of day. Some time lying down with heating pad. 

Dave Drake came by at 5:30.  We put on our yaktrax and went out in continuing sleet to Indian food and a movie. The movie was a really good Hollywood production, good story
