Thanks for visiting.
Spent lots of time on SaaS agreement for UTMH. Met with Seth.
Continued work on pictures and list of travel over past 5 decades. Added note about the status of the website as an ongoing project.
Looking for solution to sidebar on project pages.
I made my usual spicy ground sausage with many vegetables. Then the throw back dish: green beans with fried onions and mushroom soup using traditional materials.
Spent most of the morning working organizing the photos of our various trips. Increased list size and started a spreadsheet with dates and places. Also worked on finding a whole page template for the Projects pages
Telecons with Yehuda Reiss and the NYRWA team.
Surprisingly good turn out (9 people) and discussion tonight at Non-Fiction Book, especially so because most didn’t like the book Songs of America by Meachem. Fortunately the playlist I found to accompany the book was very good.
Up early. Breakfast, NYTimes Sunday paper on paper, made 3 batches of bran muffins. Most are for the Friends of HAL bake sale.
Most of the day spent In the factory on this website. Organizing photos, making lists of events and trips. Set up me 5 terabyte HD for Time Machine.
Nap.
Drinks at Swoon. Ian and Cynthia with Dave. Loud conversations. Dinner was leftovers from pre-Christmas dinner, duck, purple cabbage, tsimas.
Karen wants to know where my orphaned sock collection is? She doesn’t seem to grasp a truth About the universe. When you open the dryer mischievous sock spirits randomly disappear a sock here and there never to be seen again.
Regular Saturday breakfast at Bob’s followed by grocery shopping.
Attended to new Time Machine hard drive for Karen’s new iMac. Spent several more hours scrubbing through the photos from 2018 to creat a list of blog postings. Somehow I went through 2018 with only two entries in real time.
Spent most of the afternoon boxing up the fifty or so portfolios that were featured in our failed attempt to sell photography online. DavisOrtonEditions was launched in 2013 and abandoned in 2016. Time to ship the prints back to the photographers. Fortunately we had a good sluppy of white boxes. Karen worked on confirming the shipping addresses for all these boxes. We lost the old database.
Rained steadily all afternoon and into the evening.
Pork chop, red bean vegetable medley with jerk seasoning, cauliflower mashed with cheese, salad with Brussels sprouts chopped:
Spent several hours working through photos from 2018 to make a list of events. Also extended the project on ValuEdge history. Cleaned up a few family finance issues.
Karen’s new 27” iMac arrived. Got it started installing from Time Machine backup. Still working on it as we went to bed.
Played tennis with Ted at Old Chatham Tennis… only got one hour of court time. Worked on new grip for backhand. Ended set at 3-5.
Went to TSL to see Parasite (IMDB link), the Korean movie much talked about recently. Interesting, strange movie….
Doctor appointment with Marilyn Miller. Talked about right wrist, left knee – minor pain there – and shooting pains occasionally in legs. Left with appointment to Dr. Shin at Fish and Game Rd for wrist and knee. Blood work for leg pains. This may either resolve or narrow that issue. Rest of test results in good shape.
More work on the marketing brochure and other.
Tennis lesson. Saif now wants me to hit the backhand with a grip that very nearly mirrors my forehand grip. Instantly drilled lots of balls into the net, as he predicted. This new grip will greatly increase the top spin. More work on serve. Tossing the ball really high to slow down arm motion. Also keeping left hand pointed to ball for as long as possible.
Lots of UTMH work – support documents and new SaaS contract. Worked with John Friedman.
Tennis – doubles at Total Tennis. Good night.
Watching Major Crimes TV series.
Went to CMH for blood work. Avoided UTMH team meeting. Spent time on archived Riverside Business Coach website at rbc.markorton.com. Also more work on markorton.com. Set up a page of links to favorite stuff on RBC website.
Met with Seth. David is not acting on the contract we need for Petrov deal. Wexelman is in orbit.
Stopped library to talk with Emily about meeting with Mayor next week.
Tracked back to ValuEdge entry on website. Lots of interesting stuff.

I haven’t written anything new for the RBC website since 2017. Yesterday I announced on the site that the business is closing down. This led me back to the site and a viewing of many of the blog articles I wrote over the years.
Here are some of my favorites:
