UTMH team meeting….meet Leon Greene, CEO candidate with David Seth and Cameron. Very broad experience in tech and software, bright, good strategic mind. Need to work out future compensation issues before starting four month intro engagement.
Tennis lesson with Saif. Rapid ground stroke drills, serve, toss ball high, slow down the swing from rear drop position, hit up on ball for depth. Knee pain of last week gone.
Spent too much time working with a plugin to add tables of contents to web pages here and on AmericanDelusions. Decided in the end to drop it here because of a conflict with Timeline. Also talked with Karen about my spreadsheet of travel events. She added some I had forgotten back in the early ‘70s.

Met with Erin Marshall and Ryder Cooley at UTMH. Lengthy discussion of document standards and user roles and permissions. Have asked Troy Web for a roles and permissions matrix. They should be able to produce this easily.
Seth and I talked with SOMML. After what seems to be more than a year of preparatory work they have actually started to sign up patients at Albany Med. Also spoke with David about upcoming meeting with CEO candidate Leon Greene next week.
Rare completely clear sky behind the Catskill Mountains on the way to tennis about 5:30pm.
Doubles at Total Tennis. Played quite well excepting serve which featured way too many double faults. Left knee bothered me towards the end of the session.
Went to CMH for blood work. Avoided UTMH team meeting. Spent time on archived Riverside Business Coach website at rbc.markorton.com. Also more work on markorton.com. Set up a page of links to favorite stuff on RBC website.
Met with Seth. David is not acting on the contract we need for Petrov deal. Wexelman is in orbit.
Stopped library to talk with Emily about meeting with Mayor next week.

Another day of gray, cold, rainy weather.
Woke to find that Seth had revised his piece last night. Gave up on really reviewing this. Sent it to Pauline Decarmo for her to revise her layouts. Scheduled discussion with her for 4pm. Need to be much clearer about what we need.
Met with David and Tony Kieraldo for morning UTMH team telecon. Seth was sick. David muttered and gesticulated throughout the telecon. I put the phone on mute to prevent others from hearing this. Then, after the telecon, he announced that he didn’t want to listen to Tony’s very brief presentation about a new social media campaign. “Just send me the number of C level people who are on Twitter. Twitter is all crap” Very insulting behavior.
Still underpowered from cold. Foggy and low energy.
Met with Tony Kieraldo at Rev about UTMH matters. He told me about his music tour in Europe and Lebanon. We talked through a new social media campaign to develop leads for UTMH. Bright guy. Also met with David and Seth. The, late afternoon Ole. Missed an appointment at PT with Corey Smith. This has not happened before.
HAL NonFiction Book Club – picked up Erika Born out in Ghent because Nick was busy and couldn’t come. Good discussion of Drawdown edited by Paul Hawken. Emily, Karen, Lisa Stewart, Erika Born, Nancy Kuster, Michael O’Hara, Ruth Tamaroff, Juan Flores(new) and Bob Braunlich from SunCommon in Rhinebeck. Michael gave a good description of how a carbon tax could be implemented.
Up promptly Tuesday morning. Enema in preparation for the prostate MRI up in Latham at ImageCare. Arrived at 10:30 back in car at 11:40. 30 minutes in the machine. Wait for the results.
Emily called from the library to discuss how to handle requests from Register Star for video from security camera on second floor that may have caught the altercation between Tom DePietro and John Friedman during a Common Council meeting last week. Camera belongs to Galvan but is recorded on our equipment. The police had come by earlier and taken a copy with Galvan’s permission. Emily will refer them to Galvan for permission to release.
Long nap in the afternoon. Dinner at Dave’s in Catskill. Karen made a salad and I made rice pudding. Lamb, saag paneer, yellow sauce, cheese cake by Hazel.
8 pm looking west.
Another somewhat lost day. read through the Rebellious Life of Rosa Parks. Did a little UTMH work. Met with David Ackerman and John Friedman about sales commissions contracts.
The HAL nonfiction book group was quite energetic. One new face.
Coffee with Joe Keenan at Rev. Good discussion of his work. Stumbled on ne work he is doing helping companies spec out the best technology to run things, e.g., Slack, Dropbox, Asana, etc. He will develop proposal for UTMH project. Walked home. Warm day. 40 degrees. Matt Almeida at noon.
Lunch at Chinese place in 700 block. Met up with Seth before 2pm mtg with David A. Very wound up about Troy Web. Anthony Debonis wants 4pm telecon including me. Mtg w David bizarre in turns as usual. Discussion of customer service, commissions, revenue calculations, his Slack account.
Very good discussion w Anthony of Troy Web he accepted responsibility fit the recent cascade of errors . we worked through fixes including automated provisioning system. Quite positive left Seth feeling better. TW has better understanding of our market strategy.
Drinks with David Drake at Rive Gauche in Athens. Samira ?? was there. Met a couple of guys who own a house there near RG. She is very smart and interesting. Dave is freshly back from time with his kids.
Snow formed a sheet of ice on the sidewalk still, only 4-5 inches. Stopped snowing regularly BR 9 am Then squalls until 1pm
Worked on new website, mostly registration and child theme Also fiund matrrials for HAL Long Rang Planning Committee.
Prep fir UTMH team meeting at 114, then the group showed up. Went thru set up and use of apps . Also useful discussion of sales issues w Ole and Sam.
Thrn talked w David A about commissions, etc.
only Miranda Barry showed for HSL mtg but we talked through upcoming Board retreat 3/2/2019 also discussed David Murphy and foundation for library.

Received a call from David Ackerman early. Asked to see me privately before the 1:30 mtg w Seth and Ole about Open Telehealth. Karen dropped me off on her way to Boston.
David presented me with a document specifying UTM’s obligation to me for $110,000. This is my outstanding deferred compensation from UTM. He also mentioned the possibility of converting this sum into UTM stock. That might be userful. I need to follow up on that.
He also said that it had been agreed by Seth and Cameron Melville that I would take over management of the company in the event of David’s death (or presumably his incapacitation) His kidney transplant may occur within a month or so. He is getting weaker. Reported having to go home by 2 pm to take a nap.

Drove to Albany with Karen for visit with Dr. Rivard about hydrocele in left testicle. After one look and heft he said he wouldn’t try to talk me out of the operation. Now scheduled for 1/28/2017.
