2/1/2021 – Monday – snow early
Snow forecast
Got up at 3:30 am for ibuprofen for hip. It had started snowing several hours before forecast.
Scanned a bunch of old photos. 
Andrea and Mark bringing paint back to 266 Western Ave during Great Blizzard of ‘78 in Cambridge.
UTMH – meeting with OSPLabs. Possible new software developer.
Spoke with Matt Almeida.
3pm. Snow
Lots of work on OldDodgeVan.com.
5 pm more snow. 
Orton sibling chat. I recalled a summer debate between Torrey and Father when he was 16 or so over whether the phrase “general consensus” was a redundant phrase.

12/29/2020 – Tuesday – walk in snow…..
It was snowing when we got up. Decided to tak a walk before breakfast to be sure to get in a walk during the snow fall.
We only walked up to 5th St. and back because it was getting slippery under foot.
Had the usual UTMH team meeting. Very low key and low energy.
12/26/2020 – Saturday
12/25/2020 – Friday – Christmas
Very slow day for us. First time we didn’t put any decorations up.
Ran stopped in the morning. Almost all of the snow was gone. Walked down to the Promenade to look at the river. Flooding.
only slightest sign of the almost 2 feet of snow.
12/19/2020 – Saturday – snow clearing
The city came through with their snow blower and dump trucks.
I did some clean up in the back yard.
We had Zoom drinks with Ted and Anne because of some virus exposure on their side. Walking with the next door neighbor and her dog.
12/17/2020 – Thursday – snow storm
Over night almost 22 inches of snow fell. This is as much snow as we had all last winter.

Strange occurrence at breakfast
When I picked up my coffee cup I noticed it was dripping down the side. On closer examination it was weeping through the side of the cup. Further tests showed that the weeping action occured in the reverse direction, outside in. When tapped on the table it gave the characteristic dull sound of a cracked cup. Micro fractures in action.

12/9/2020 – first snow
Went for abbreviated morning walk. Turned slippery……
