Went to gym alone. Karen is mending her ankle.

After breakfast spent time working on a mock up of a website for the Greenport Historical Society. ghs.markorton.com. They haven’t asked for one but I will propose it to them as my contribution.

Jaunt to Copake, Ancram, Ancramdale

Copake Front Porch Market

Went for lunch at the Copake Front Porch Store. This is the store I consulted with last Fall and perhaps will again this Spring. Turns out that Copake has over 3 thousand people. The store had a few people coming and going, mostly to the sandwich take out food counter at the back.

Then we wandered around the hills for an hour, stumbling back and forth across Rt 22 as it winds south to county line. Picked up 82 with some meandering across Ancramdale and Ancram til we cam back West across the Taconic Parkway and on to Hudson.

Have to figure out where the Taconic Hills end and the Berkshires begin. On the eatern side of Rt 22 are some small mountains – these must be the Berkshires.
