Historic Hudson offered this lecture:

“The first lecture, on Saturday, February 20th at 4 pm, entitled “Picturesque Transformations: A.J. Davis reinvents Hudson Valley Architecture,” by Peter Watson. Full house.”

Quite interesting. Davis (1803-1892) was a “Architectural Composer”
