Met with Hudson Business Coalition people about marketing ideas for Hudson. Provided strategic orientation to the meeting. Sherry Jo Williams, Russ Gibson. Dave Colby from the Chamber and Branda ?? from HBC popped in. Good meeting. Done in 50 minutes.

Talked with Matt Almeida and Anita Harris in the afternoon.

Joe Keenan about the library marketing project. He will work on crowd funder and I will work on overall story.

At about 4pm Meredith called. Ed was missing. He had not shown up for work that day and no one knew where he was. No answer on cell phone. While Karen and Meredith hunted through the police and Mayor’s office in Philadelphia, I began to consider what hospital he might be in.

After a while, they found that he had been arrested for aggravated assault on his upstair neighbor Emma Xu. She had been mentioned two weeks earlier on our visit to Berkeley Heights as  crazy person. Meredith drove to Philly to bail him out and Karen and I jumped in the car to drive to their house to keep Parker company. Very surreal evening.
