Spoke with Anita harris briefly after the SOMML telecon.
Drinks and chat with Esther Hanig. Will make this a regular weekly meet up.

Spoke with Seth then Kurt Lozier at SOMML. Ole reported on his conference at NY Home Health Association meeting yesterday.

Tennis doubles at Total Tennis.
Most of the day taken up with UTMH. Met with David A and John Friedman to talk about commission contracts. Also discussed leasing finance arrangements. David continued to ask about what Ole, Sam and Gayle are doing. Need to bring more discipline to their work. Then met with Seth. Ryder Cooley also there. Then, talk with Anita Harris. Finally Ole Breuning at Verdegris. Maybe I can get him more focused on home health agencies.
Cold all day. 12 degrees at 8am. Walked back from One Hudson City Center at 3pm. Windy and cold all the way back.
Tennis doubles night at Total Tennis. Played very well. First set in particular. Won three sets. Very unusual. Played with Ray Siecinski at the end.
Finished up the DOG website forms for Karen. They are now set up as a database so she can export things En mass.
Good call with Miranda Barry about David Murphy and a foundation for the library. She had followed up on my conversation with David while we were in FL last week. Looks like a good opportunity to get a significant start on an endowment for the library. Also we talked about possible co-president arrangement.
Spent most of the afternoon with Seth. Discussed customer service requirements and lit of user manuals that Ryder Cooley needs to write. Reviewed bad service situation with Troy Web. Need to have a meeting with Anthony DeBonis to try to improve things. Also talked with David about his Slack account.
Spoke with Anita Harris for 30 minutes. More about her Mom’s house and all of the travails with her siblings.
Evening tennis was just so so.
Weighed 230. Noticed my notecard dating back to 2009 showed me at 260. Odd loss of weight. Though, I have noticed that I have been indulging in less face stuffing moments. Maybe peanut butter is the key. 
Went to library about noon. Mtg w Emily Chameides, Carol Pledger, & Brenda Shufelt about volunteer processes. Stopped on way home to talk with Tessy Keller about her dealing with volunteers. She asked for help with ticketing system.
Drove to Albany for dinner and movie with Anita Harris. Snow squalls along the way. Dinner at Van’s followed by Iranian movie The Salesman. A bit slow, melodramatic but also not aHollywood movie. 
Vertigo on waking up. Fell over in bed. Luckily didn’t bang my head. Took several minutes sitting on edge of bed to get going. Looks like more severe type of what I had 25 years ago. Where is Stanley now that I need him again. When I lie prone and hold my head in some positions I get vertigo. Will have to go to doctor about this.
Took repeated pictures of snowman melting in backyard.
Met with Seth Lachterman about CMH project.
Then talked w Anita Harris.
Tennis at night.
Ed called. They will come for a visit Sunday.
Avoided turning on the radio for a long time. Denying Trump. Spent much of the morning writing CurrentMatters piece about the election
Also spent a lot of time working on my new approach to the Our Situation essays, letters written to Noah and Nyla.

Overall a depressed day.
Tennis was very good. Three very compettitve sets. Karen has reminded me beforehand to be mindful. 
Drove to Albany.
Along the way we stopped in Kinderhook at jack Shainman’s The School Gallery for the “Winter in America” show. Very diverse but in the end unfocused and not very interesting. Liked the di Suvero sculpture on the lawn.
At the Albany Institute of History and Art. David Drake joined us.

Great firehouse on Delaware Ave, near the Spectrum movie theatre.
Umesh talked over but not to this slide. Drives me crazy.
Met Anita Harris at Panera Bread near UAlbany. Her mother is in a nursing home nearby. While waiting Janet Schnitzer, Germantown, former HAL President, appeared. She play majong there regularly. Small world. Continue reading

Met with Hudson Business Coalition people about marketing ideas for Hudson. Provided strategic orientation to the meeting. Sherry Jo Williams, Russ Gibson. Dave Colby from the Chamber and Branda ?? from HBC popped in. Good meeting. Done in 50 minutes.
