Visit to Potsdam NY in advance of the basketball game.
This sign popped up on the side of the road in the middle of the Adirondacks.

Arrived about 1:30 pm. Went to library. Very cramped with huge number of books. Very few seats, tiny children’s area. Very high circulation numbers. Cluttered. Programming is really focused on computers. Librarian explained that competing with the two universities for other programming was not a winner.
Went to lunch. Since this is a city with two universities (SUNY Potsdam and Clarkson) with 8,000 students the downtown is still alive.

Saturday – 3/5/2016 – Basketball
Went to Maxcy Gym at SUNY Potsdam. Saw end of a girls regional game.
Then our game vs Ogdensburg Free Academy started. Very close game to the last minute when a few last minute points and turnovers created a 70-63 win for the Hudson Bluehawks.
Drove to Massena – 20 minutes northeast for a Super 8 room.
Had quick soup and sandwich at Nana’s Kitchen.
