We had a dinner for 14 people. Dave Drake cooked the duck breast and red cabbage. Karen made various dishes as did Mark. Anne Bertrand-Dewsnap made a desert, others brought wines and hors d’oeuvre. Ed, Meredith, Maggie and Parker came up from NJ. Ted and Anne came too. Pauline Decarmo, Susan???? Unfortunately none of Dave’s kids came.
Went to see Dr. Subudhi at CMH. PSA value now 5, up from 4.7 8 months ago. This is following a trend over the last few years of rising PSA numbers. He repeated a DRE and found that he could still feel the small (~1/8 in bump). But given negative results of the August biopsy I am no closer to a conclusive result. He suggests another blood test, 4Kscore. This test provides a good assessment of risk of aggressive cancer versus “indolent”.
Tennis lesson with Saif. Lots of work on backhand and volleying. 3 ball drills coming to the net.
Esther Hanig is visiting over the weekend.
Saw this iceboat being set up on Warren while walking back from farmer’s market in the morning.
We held the opening reception for the PhotoBook show with pictures of books and readers at 3pm in order n to to bump into Winter Walk that starts at 5pm. Feared few would show up. Having a couple of locals in the show brought out their posses.

On the way to Bob’s…..
Attended a marketing workshop at the library. This one given by staff from MHLS. Biggest surprise was to hear from folks at RoeJan Library that they only raise 30% of the funds from taxes!!
First visit of the season to Old Chatham Tennis Club. Played with Ted on the HarTru court. Lots of fun on this surface.
