Monday – 11/21/2016

Drove to Albany with Karen for visit with Dr. Rivard about hydrocele in left testicle. After one look and heft he said he wouldn’t try to talk me out of the operation. Now scheduled for 1/28/2017.

Started reading The Attention Merchants

Went to movie, Moonlight. Very good.

Fire station Delaware Ave. Albany NY

UTM telecon on the way back. Seth is possessed about Wednesday meeting with Melvilles. Talked further w Gayle Gendron about a couple of slides about benefits and marketing.

Watched first of six part tv series The Night Manager.

Monday – 11/7/2016

Weighed 230.5 this morning.

Wrote overview piece for Hudson-Creative. Then turned to my attention to the Our Situation essays. Started anew writing a letter to Noah and Nyla. Very effective mode for me. Quickly got into the swing. Posing questions about why things are the way they are in order to get to the ideas. 2016-11-07_2043

Went to get a haircut with Karen. Done, both of us in under 15 minutes. Then a stop at Walmart for drugstore. Got new dish towels to replace the rags we have used up completely.

Dave Drake came over for leftovers. Beef stew.

Tuesday – 11/1/2016

Helped Karen pack up car. She is off to Griffin Museum. Then to hospital for blood tests by 8am. Spent morning at library working on Husdon Creative. Afternoon in office also working on H-C. Walked down to Promenade for sunset K. Returned at 7

Thursday – 5/5/2016 – NYC

Drove to NYC – visit museums and children.

I drove into a Yellow Cab near Andrea’s house.

Wednesday – 5/4/2016

Visited CMH – saw PA Jeanne Pierce

Got referral for ultrasound of swollen testicle and appointment with urologist in Albany.

Tuesday – 1/19/2016

Colonoscopy at CMH.

Only partially successful due to inadequate prep. 01192016-1

Monday – 1/4/2016 – more PT and surprise birthday party

Physical therapy on shoulder continues.

Surprise birthday party for Pauline Decarmo. Held at former UTM office next door to Spotty Dog.

Thursday – 12/3/15 – physical therapy – shoulder – HAL – UTM

Went for first physical therapy appointment for shoulder at CMH rehab on Fish & Game Rd. A revelation. The physical therapist Anna Marie Zietsman manipulated my shoulder to very positive immediate effect. Leaning, pushing, straps…… Left shoulder is pinched in slightly, probably compensating for the lack of mobility. Will have further sessions. Also showed me how my standing posture could be better.

Lunch at Mexican Radio with HAL Exec. Comm.

UTM meeting with Paul Czajka, District Attorney, and Ed Moore, Hudson Chief of Police. Very good meeting. Moore especially can see uses for the technology. Focused on communications between dispatcher and cars.

Went to Dine Rite Dinner out by CCGC. Just opened. Very good food. $30 for the two of us. Mix of Middle Eastern and Caribbean cuisines. Open for breakfast.

Friday – 11/20/2015

Hurt back coughing after pulling down dust covered boxes in barn. Think it is an aggravation of a small injury on my lower right side from overextending tennis serve.

Karen bought me a brace that helped a lot. Spent time in bed with heating pad. Sneeze attack made things worse. Called in to a HAL Program Committee meeting.

Thursday – 11/5/2015

New Doctor

Met with Jeanne Pierce, PA at CMH. Low on personality, brief, not chatty, OK. Examined my left shoulder and suggested a round of Naproxen. Not much else.

Drinks at Spotty Dog with Sherry Jo and Pauline.
