Dropped package off at UPS. Building undergoing renovations. Didn’t know that that end had a curved roof.
HAL mtg about Volunteers at Verdigris at 11. New Board member Carol Pledger. Emily and Brenda too. Very good discussion of volunteer program.
Returned to work on volunteer management software
Tennis at night. Played much better than usual until last 20 minutes.

Sunday morning walk up Warren. Stopped to talk with Scott Neven, Sarah Sterling, and Gail Peachin. Talked about antique center at LB bldg. Forthcoming pop up show by Sarah, Gayle, and ??
Gallery sat until 3pm. Worked on angry old white guy essay. Four people came in. Three from Prison Public Memory Project. Karen is on the Board. We will host a fundraiser 12/11.
Went to practice tennis. Focused on keeping eye on the ball until the racket strikes the ball.
Paul Stewart was visiting gallery when I came back. Unusual guy. Very bright. Very tightly wound.

Went to Wunderbar for dinner. Watched 1 qrtr of Patriots game.
Walked to library with Karen. She went on to farmer’s market. I attended the Finance Committee mtg w Emily, Theresa, David, and Anna Rachminov. Marie Rasner was also there. Talked about 2017 414 referendum process. Also 2017 budget. Very enjoyable mtg.
Sat in library working letter to Noah. Library was very busy. Walked home. Gallery sat. Played tennis with Ted at 3pm.
As I cooked dinner Ksren talked about stopping the gallery. She says it isn’t making her happy anymore.
Watched Witness, a documentary about the Kitty Genovese murder. Very OC brother.
Avoided turning on the radio for a long time. Denying Trump. Spent much of the morning writing CurrentMatters piece about the election
Also spent a lot of time working on my new approach to the Our Situation essays, letters written to Noah and Nyla.
Talked with Anita Harris in the afternoon.
Overall a depressed day.
Tennis was very good. Three very compettitve sets. Karen has reminded me beforehand to be mindful. 
Bob’s Diner for breakfast. Price Chopper, & farmer’s market.
Then I drove to Walmart for tennis balls and 3-in-One oil; then to the bank for cash and a stop at Fairview Wine.
Gallery watch until 3pm.
Tennis at CGCC with Ted Dewsnap. Unusually we played a set. I won 6-2.
Bard Conservatory Orchestra: Beethoven’s Leonora Overture; Bartok: Concerto for Orchestra; and Shostakovich Symphony No. 5. We sat in Row H. unusually close to the orchestra. The strings seemed on top of us. The balance was not what I usually like. Next time we will try seats back around Row T.
Met with David Murphy about HAL matters. Basement issues are sorting themselves out to pretty good satisfaction. He asked me to attend the next Finance Committee mtg.
Talked with Matt Almeida. Key topic is a lead tracking system.
Worked on RoadTrip Keynote piece. Went to courts for practice at 4:30.
Watched Citizen Four about Edward Snowden. A remarkable documentary. 
Spent most of day working on the Road Trip Keynote review and diary entries. Also talked with UTM about RPM pricing. 
Played tennis w Ted D. Very windy. Less than good tennis.
Karen gave her 20th century women photographer lecture for Anne Bertrand-Dewsnap’s art history class at Marist.
Chinese food from Red Chopstick. Very spicy.
Talked w Harvey Meyerson for 45 minutes.
Continued to watch Mr. Robot series.
Hurt back coughing after pulling down dust covered boxes in barn. Think it is an aggravation of a small injury on my lower right side from overextending tennis serve.
Karen bought me a brace that helped a lot. Spent time in bed with heating pad. Sneeze attack made things worse. Called in to a HAL Program Committee meeting.

Met with Seth at 11am – updated various projects: CMH, Deepankr, Belvedere. Came up with alternative proposal for them. Will see if they are interested. Lunch at Bagel Tyme. Had not been in there in five or six years. Peanut butter on whole wheat bagel.
Met with David Ackerman. Typical short meeting. Reviewed Randy Johnston mtg in Chicago. Need to find out about Ole’s project??
Worked on office project for rest of afternoon.
Played tennis at Total Tennis from 6:45 to 9pm.
Chuck from Ihlenburg showed up mid-morning. Just had to hit a reset button inside the boiler. $192 of plumber charges for two visits.
Mowed the lawn, reglazed window in barn for office project. Cooked pork butt for pulled pork for dinner. Practiced serve.
